Cardiff City striker Jay Bothroyd has played down fears regarding the severity of his calf problems.
Bluebirds manager Dave Jones revealed earlier in the week that the club are investigating whether Bothroyd's calf troubles are hereditary.
However, after visiting a specialist in London this week, the forward is expecting to be available for Saturday's game against Millwall.
"I think I've only suffered three calf strains in my career. It just happens there have been a couple recently," he told Wales Online.
Feeling sharp
"But I'm feeling good, sharp and confident and I will be OK to play against Millwall.
"Calves can be tricky and I was delighted to play for 80 minutes at Ipswich. It was never thought I would play the whole game, but it's not something I feel will hinder my career in any way.
"I may have to manage the situation a little better, but no more than that. In future if my calves are feeling tight then maybe I will take a day off from training."
