Chesterfield winger Drew Talbot believes that their great start to life at the new B2net Stadium can give them the edge they need to push for promotion this season.
The Spireites have narrowly missed out on the top seven for the last two seasons, finishing just two points off Dagenham & Redbridge last year.
But John Sheridan's side have now won all four of their home league games this term to sit third in the table and Talbot told skysports.com that it is down to them to keep up the good work.
"It can be quite difficult to create the same sort of atmosphere when moving to a new ground, but the fans have been great and hopefully we can keep it going because we are playing really well at home," he said.
"Saltergate was a special ground for this club and it was a fortress in many ways, but the new ground is slowly winning the fans over and good performances on the pitch always help that settling in period.
"It might just be lady luck to be honest, but we are playing with a lot of confidence at the new ground.
"We had a good pre-season together and the new players brought in by the gaffer settled into the group instantly.
"The groundsmen are doing a great job with the pitch because we like to play good football on the ground and everything is going well for us at the moment."
He added: "It's still early days, but we have narrowly missed out on the top seven for the last two years, which was very disappointing.
"We had a loss of form at the wrong time on both occasions and that was down to ourselves really.
"We've just got to keep going as we are at the moment and see where it takes us at the end of the season.
"There is no reason for our form to slip, but we've just got to make sure that we remain focused and not take our eye off the ball."
