Rangers manager Walter Smith has been delighted with Steven Naismith's form and consistency for the SPL champions this season.
The former Kilmarnock forward has started all but one of the club's league games this year and has played a key part in their early success.
Naismith unselfishly set up a goal for Nikica Jelavic in Gers' 3-2 success over Aberdeen at Pittodrie on Sunday.
The 24-year-old has suffered from injuries in the past and Smith feels a consistent run of games is also helping the striker's confidence.
"He has given us a good level of form so far this season," said Smith. "It has been the consistency that has been most pleasing.
"In previous seasons it has taken him a little bit of time, maybe because of injuries or because he was getting used to being settled at a big club.
"He has been terrific for us this season, both in wider areas and off the front when he has played there. He has been excellent in creating goals and finishing them off. He is doing very well for us at the present moment."
