Midfielder should return after international break

Inverness Caledonian Thistle have received a boost after learning Lee Cox will only miss the next two games. Cox was stretchered off during last week's 6-0 cup defeat at Celtic and there were fears the midfielder had broken his ankle. However, scans have shown there is no break and Inverness boss Terry Butcher expects the 19-year-old to return after the international break. "With the bruising down, the signs are much better on an ankle we thought at first had been broken," Butcher told the club's official website. "As well as missing the St Mirren game, Lee will also sit out the home game with Aberdeen on October 2. "But the following weekend is the break for Euro 2012 international fixtures, so we're very hopeful that Lee will make his comeback against St Johnstone at Inverness on October 16. "That's a much more encouraging scenario with the international break working in our favour."
