Coveted striker wants to stay and develop at Palermo for now
Promising Palermo striker Abel Hernandez says he has no plans to leave the Serie A outfit in the near future.
The 20-year-old Uruguayan striker has been a reported target for Arsenal and Spurs, as well as attracting interest from a host of other European clubs.
But the powerful marksman, who signed for Palermo from homeland club Penarol in 2009, insists he is going nowhere.
The striker, who had to have a small operation to fix a cardiac arrhythmia soon after signing for Palermo, believes he will develop into a better player at the club.

He told
Mediaset Premium: "Arsenal want me? I'm very good at Palermo, both in the town and with my team-mates.
"I'd love to stay another two or three years here, because it would make me grow. Then in the future if there will be an offer by a great club, we'll see.
"My first experience I had in Italy during a trial with Genoa, they didn't take me for my heart problems, while Palermo believed in me and got me the surgery.
"For this also, I'll always thank the Rosanero club."
