Valencia winger Pablo Hernandez is backing his team-mates to overcome Rangers providing they stick to their normal game and avoid a physical battle.
Los Che are the favourites despite the game being at Ibrox, although Walter Smith's SPL champions have already overcome Bursaspor on home soil.
Valencia come into the match on the back of a 2-1 weekend loss to Barcelona, but Hernandez does not believe their first league defeat of the campaign has dented confidence.
Hernandez and co bring huge amounts of talent and technique to the table and the 25-year-old knows they will have the upper hand over Gers if they can play to their strengths.
"The Barcelona defeat will not affect us in Glasgow. It was a blow to lose at Camp Nou, but we remain positive," he told skysports.com.
"Valencia are better than Rangers if we play our natural game, but they will be giving their all. In Scotland's it's dominate possession and take your chances.
"We've watched video of Rangers in Champions League action and we're convinced they'll change their style for tonight's match. They will hit us on the counter-attack.
"We're more technical than Rangers. That's the key. We're not interested in the physical battle, but those tactics are more favourable to Rangers.
"Valencia has changed a lot recently after losing Villa and Silva, but in La Liga we're demonstrating it's possible to fight with the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona at the top of the table."
