Algerian begins long road to recovery

Wolves midfielder Adlene Guedioura has commenced his long rehabilitation from a broken leg, vowing to return to help his side this season. The Algerian, who is expected to miss the next six months, has been overwhelmed by the support he has received so far. Guedioura has been pleased with his progress from the injury and is very positive looking ahead. "I'm happy to start some training. It's not a lot because I'm not mobile but I can have some treatment and start my recovery," Guedioura said. "Now the big plaster's off, I can move a little bit more. I'm still focused on getting back this season. "If I do the right thing with the medical staff, I've got a good chance of being ready for a few games this season.

Passion

"Football is my passion, but it's a privileged life - I don't have to get up at 6am and finish at 6pm. "You have to step back and say, 'these things happen in football'. "It could have been worse but I can come back strongly and mentally refreshed. "I was surprised to get on the bike and use the Alter-G. The medical staff have been great and were happy for me to do a little bit. "I've got to be patient and our head of medical Steve Kemp might have to hold me back, but it feels good to do stuff already."
