Hull City are running the rule over free agent Liam Rosenior as manager Nigel Pearson assesses his squad.
The 24-year-old defender, who spent time on loan at Ipswich last season, has been without a club since leaving Reading in the summer.
He was due to have a trial at former club Bristol City, however, he opted to cut short his stay at the club in favour of wining a deal elsewhere.
Rosenior headed to East Yorkshire and featured in City's 3-0 reserves win over Scunthorpe on Wednesday.
He featured at right-back and gave a good account of himself, along with pushing forward down the flank as much as possible.
It remains to be seen what impression Rosenior made on Pearson and whether the club will be offering the free agent a contract.
