West Brom boss Roberto Di Matteo has admitted that he will be cautious over whether to field key trio Peter Odemwingie, Jonas Olsson and James Morrison against Manchester City on Sunday.
Nigeria striker Odemwingie appears the most likely to make a recovery from a knee problem that has kept him out for the past month.
Since signing from Lokomotiv Moscow towards the end of August, the 29-year-old has proved a key figure in West Brom's setup, scoring three goals in six games in the Baggies' rise to the top half of the Premier League.
Olsson is struggling with an Achilles injury, but the news that Pablo Ibanez had his appeal against his red card against Blackpool granted on Wednesday will give Di Matteo less of a headache ahead of the game at The Hawthorns.
"I'm not sure if Peter or Jonas are going to be ready for Sunday," Di Matteo told the club's official website..
"I think Peter has a better chance than Jonas. Neither have trained yet - but we're hopeful."
Scotland international Morrison missed their 2-1 defeat at Bloomfield Road to the Seasiders on Monday due to a knee injury, but has yet to be ruled out of City's visit.
"He got a knock on his knee in training the other day. We're hoping he might be part of the next game," Di Matteo added.
