Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea interested in Coentrao

Fabio Coentrao has dismissed reports linking him with a move to the Premier League, insisting he is happy with Benfica. The young wing-back produced a man-of-the-match display as the reigning Portuguese champions overcame Lyon 4-3 in Champions League Group B on Tuesday night. Coentrao, 22, replaced the suspended Nicolas Gaitan on the wing against the French outfit and capped a superb evening with two well-taken goals in a scintillating individual display. The Portugal international recently extended his contract with Benfica until 2016 but the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and AC Milan have all reportedly been eyeing the youngster. Coentrao told television station Sport TV: "I have a deal with Benfica for the next six years and my intention is to fulfil that contract. "I have heard about the rumours about the big European clubs but at the moment, I am calm and totally focused on life with Benfica." Benfica reportedly value Coentrao at around £27million although he would not be made available until next summer.
