Krasic and Legrottaglie laid low with thigh injuries

Juventus are reeling from the news that Milos Krasic and Nicola Legrottaglie have picked up knocks. The Italian giants are already working under a crippling injury list and the last thing they needed was to see their options depleted even further. However, that is the situation they are now facing, with a UEFA Europa League clash with Salzburg in midweek having proved costly. Both Krasic and Legrottaglie suffered thigh strains during the continental contest and are now facing up to spells on the sidelines. It is expected that Serbian winger Krasic will be out for around a month while centre-half Legrottaglie could be missing for between five and six weeks. "Everything is going against us at the moment," said Juve boss Luigi Del Neri on the latest blow to hit his first-team plans.

Buffon

The Juve coach has also responded to rumours suggesting Gianluigi Buffon could soon be on his way out of the club. The World Cup-winning keeper is currently recovering from back surgery but has rarely been seen at the club's training ground. Del Neri insists that is no reason to assume that he is heading for the exits but admits he would like to see Buffon on a more regular basis. "You'll need to ask him why he's not been around much," he said. "Maybe he could have come to the training ground a few times." Del Neri revealed that he expects Buffon, who has not played since Italy's opening game of the 2010 World Cup, to be back in action by January.
