Jean Makoun has intimated that he is ready for a move away from French Ligue 1 strugglers Lyon in the January transfer window.
The Cameroon international has recently been out action due to a thigh injury but has remained a target from Les Gones supporters who have demanded his departure.
Fans have watched the side drop into the relegation zone before a recent run of good results has seen them climb to 11th, five points behind surprise leaders Brest.
Head coach Claude Puel has used Makoun sparingly and now the 27-year-old former Lille man is ready to wait for the offers to come in after expressing his dissatisfaction with the present state of affairs at the club.
"I want to play and I'm going to keep my concentration and wait (for offers). There are people working hard in this respect," Makoun said at a press conference.
"We're obviously thinking about the winter transfer market and it's totally normal for me to be looking to see if I can get more playing time elsewhere."
Although Makoun still has two years left on his current deal, the French giants are prepared to let the player leave for around £5.8million.
Premier League giants Manchester United and Arsenal have both reportedly expressed an interest along with Spanish heavyweights Real Madrid and Barcelona.
