Port Vale goalkeeper Stuart Tomlinson is unsure where transfer rumours linking him with a move to QPR or Sheffield United have emerged from, but insists he is solely concentrated on Vale's League Two promotion push.
The former Crewe Alexandra shot-stopper only joined the Valiants in the summer from non-league Barrow, and admits he has been surprised at the press reports.
Tomlinson told skysports.com: "It was the first I'd heard of it when I saw it in the paper at the weekend. I've only played 20 games for Vale, so I think it's too early to even think about it.
"We've started the season well, we're scoring goals, and are keeping them out as well. I've kept about 10 clean sheets so far, so it's going okay at the moment."
The Chester-born keeper was released by Crewe in 2009 after a six-year association with the club.
He joined Barrow and enjoyed a visit to Wembley in the FA Trophy final last year.
Tomlinson actually rejected an offer from Vale before he joined Barrow but was glad to make the switch to Vale Park this summer.
"I was expecting to be second choice to Chris Martin who'd played well last season, but I got my chance in pre-season and have not looked back," he added.
The 25-year-old signed an extension to his contract after an impressive start to the season.
He is due to remain at Vale until the end of the 2011/2012 season, although manager Micky Adams' first job could be holding off the attentions of Championship clubs in the January transfer window.
