Kolo Toure was pleased to have kept United at bay in the Manchester derby on Wednesday night.
The City centre-half played a leading role in the crunch clash, with defences having dominated throughout.
While Roberto Mancini's men rarely looked like finding a winner themselves, they were hardly troubled by United's attacking unit.
Toure felt a point apiece was a fair reflection on an uninspiring encounter, with his attention having already turned to a home date with Birmingham on Saturday.
"We did not play well in the second half, they were better than us and you can see why they are a great team always fighting at the top of the league," the Ivorian told

"Big games are different to most fixtures and most of their players had experience of playing in derby games.
"We did well in the first half and, for me, a point against United is not a bad result.
"We played well defensively, we were very tight and we all did our job at the back.
"Hopefully we can go and get three points from our next game against Birmingham."
