Kirk Broadfoot insists the Rangers players are fully focused amid takeover talk surrounding the club.
The debt-ridden Scottish champions are subject of takeover interest from tycoon Craig Whyte, who confirmed on Thursday that he is considering making an offer.
But Broadfoot insists Walter Smith's squad are simply focused on matters on the pitch as they seek to maintain their good start to the campaign.
The defender said: "There has been nothing said about it.
"To be fair, we have seen all this before and it has come and gone. To be honest, we just get on with playing.
No skin
"If it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, it's no skin off our noses.
"If it does happen, it can only be good for the football club. But it's nothing to do with us, we just get on with playing.
"It doesn't really affect the players, we just go out to do a job on the pitch."
Rangers face a busy week, with an SPL clash at Kilmarnock on Saturday followed by the crucial UEFA Champions League game against Manchester United at Ibrox on Wednesday.
While Broadfoot is excited about facing the Red Devils, he insists Gers need to focus on the clash against Killie as they seek to remain top of the SPL.
He added: "It's hard to say that you don't think about playing against Manchester United.
Looking forward
"But I'm just looking forward to getting a game tomorrow and hopefully we can get through the game with a win.
"Then we can look to the Manchester United game.
"We need to keep winning. We know Celtic will keep winning so we need to keep that gap at the top, starting with tomorrow."
Gers already have six players sidelined and Broadfoot, who has been troubled by an ankle problem in recent weeks, has told boss Walter Smith he is ready for action
He said: "I've probably been fitter but I'm fit enough to be available for selection so I'm available.
"If you ask any footballer, I don't think he goes into every game in his career 100%. Most footballers have little niggles or some tightness.
"You just need to get on with it. The squad is a bit bare at the moment but it gives an opportunity to other players to come in and show what they can do."
