Lyon's Kim Kallstrom would prefer to be playing more this season, but admits he would find it difficult to leave.
The Sweden international has been in and out of Claude Puel's side this season, with the summer arrival of Yoann Gourcuff having pushed him down the pecking order.
He is no longer the mainstay in the side he once was, and the 28-year-old admits his lack of action has been difficult to take.
Kallstrom is prepared to fight for his place, though, as he has spent four happy years with Lyon and has no desire to take on a new challenge just yet.
"I feel happy here," he told L'Equipe.
"I did not play much at the start of the season but the situation has improved slightly over the last two months.
"It is difficult to swallow, but that's life. In the past I played in all the big Champions League games, but that isn't the case anymore so of course I am asking myself questions.
"Following the arrival of Yoann, I am playing in a less attacking position. That is no problem to me though.
"I am torn a bit at the moment - I have been playing here so long, but I don't play in the big matches anymore..."
Kallstrom admits he had the opportunity to leave Lyon in 2007, but claims he has no regrets about snubbing a big-money move to Valencia in favour of penning a new contract at Stade Gerland.
"Valencia? There was a lot of money on offer, for me and the club," he said.
"Finally we reached an agreement for me to prolong my contract here, and I have no regrets about that."
