Queens Park Rangers manager Neil Warnock believes midfielder Martin Rowlands would benefit from a spell out on loan.
Rowlands is fit again after a year on the sidelines with a knee injury, but is short of match sharpness after making just two late substitute appearances for QPR last month.
He has attracted interest from several clubs, including Crystal Palace, but is currently happy to stay at QPR rather than leave on a temporary basis.
"I've spoken to Crystal Palace and a couple of other clubs have asked me over the last few months," Warnock told the Ealing Gazette.
"I've told Martin who they are, but at the minute he doesn't want to do anything.
"At the moment, he's not getting in the side. He needs first-team games and I can't see him getting in my team. He says he doesn't get anything out of friendlies.
"But that's down to Martin really, because I'm not forcing anybody to go."
