Sky Blues stopper hopes he has impressed

Coventry defender Nathan Cameron is hoping to secure a regular place in the back four after three successive clean sheets. The 19-year-old has started seven games in the Championship this season and has impressed in the Sky Blues' recent good run. Cameron did give away a penalty in the 1-0 win over Middlesbrough at the weekend but he has played an important part in City's push into the play-off places. He told the Coventry Telegraph: "Hopefully I can stay in the side. Three clean sheets out of three is great and I'm pleased about that. "The manager has just told me to keep playing the way I am playing because I think I have been playing well, although I was a little bit disappointed with my performance on Saturday when I gave the penalty away but I felt I recovered well in the second half and that's the main thing. "As people can see from my mistake I am still learning the game and learning what to do and that's exactly what I am doing. "I am learning off experienced pros and hopefully getting better every day in training and in every match that I play and I am just happy to be in the team right now." Coventry have the chance to continue their good run when they travel to the Madejski to take on Reading at the weekend.
