Toffees boss a big fan of striker

Everton boss David Moyes has called on striker Victor Anichebe to commit his future to the club by signing a new deal. Anichebe, who is out of contract at the end of the season, has yet to agree a new deal at Goodison Park and could leave on a free transfer next summer. The 22-year-old told skysports.com earlier this month he wanted to stay at Everton and Moyes believes the Nigerian international is at the best place to progress his career. "I hope he signs with us because I actually think it is the right place for him if he really wants to have a career," Moyes said. "Some people might think it's better to leave here and it might work for them - but I don't. "For Victor, if he wants to have a long career, I would try and get this sorted. I think there's a chance we can get something sorted. "I believe deep down he probably realises this is the best club for him. But he does lack a bit of self belief at times."
