Mame Biram Diouf insists his priority is on Blackburn Rovers' top-flight future and not his next career move.
The Manchester United striker is on a season-long loan at Ewood Park and has contributed three league goals - including the third in Rovers' 3-1 victory at West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday.
With no recall option available to United manager Sir Alex Ferguson, Diouf looks set to play an integral part of newly-appointed manager Steve Kean's side as they look to stay in the Premier League.
The 23-year-old front-man could have a long-term future at Rovers if he makes a significant contribution in the second half of the season and the Senegalese international is focused on doing just that, starting with Sunderland on Saturday.
He told the Lancashire Telegraph: "We are not there (the end of the season) yet and I am just looking forward to the next game and it is as simple as that.
"It is going well for me at Blackburn. As long as I am scoring goals I am happy, as long as the team wins. That is good for me and good for us.
"I am giving 100 per cent every day and am ready when the manager needs me. I just have to be patient. I don't know what will happen at the end of the season."
