Blackburn goalkeeper Paul Robinson is facing up to three weeks on the sidelines with a calf strain.
The former England international has been playing through the pain barrier in recent weeks but aggravated the injury in Tuesday's 3-1 victory over West Brom at the Hawthorns.
Rovers No.1 Robinson was forced out of the action at half time with Mark Bunn stepping into the fray from the bench to replace him.
The ex-Leeds and Tottenham shot-stopper was sent for scans in the wake of suffering the setback which confirmed a spell on the sidelines is required.

Blackburn boss Steve Kean now faces being without his established first choice for the Premier League fixtures against Sunderland, Liverpool and Chelsea, plus the FA Cup encounter against QPR.
Kean is hoping to have influential defender Chris Samba back in action when they travel to the Stadium of Light to meet the Black Cats on New Year's Day.
Samba, who was stripped of the captaincy by Kean after stating he wanted to leave the club following Sam Allardyce's shock exit, has missed the last two matches and will undergo a late fitness test on his ankle problem.

official website: "He was really disappointed he missed the last game, so with the extra couple of days I think he is going to be close. I would stay that he is probably 60/40 to play."
