Skysports.com understands Premier League clubs are preparing bids for Ashley Williams after the captain's contract talks with Swansea broke down.
The Wales skipper, who joined the Championship club from Stockport two years ago, has been linked with a move away from the Liberty Stadium in this month's transfer window.
The Swans were understood to be trying to negotiate a new deal with the 26-year-old, who is contracted until 2013, but those talks have now reportedly fallen through.
Highly-rated defender Williams is thought to have attracted interest from Wigan, West Brom and Scottish Premier League giants Celtic.
