West Brom's Paul Scharner has called on his team-mates to stay strong despite their suffering their worst run of the season.
Saturday's unfortunate defeat to league leaders Manchester United was their fourth in succession and they have now collected just seven points from 11 games to leave them nervously looking over their shoulders.
The Baggies travel to struggling Fulham on Tuesday, live on Sky Sports HD1 & 1 and Scharner insists Roberto Di Matteo's men need to maintain their self-belief if they are to end their slump down the table.
"The mental side of the game is even more important now than it has ever been," said Scharner.
"You have to be able to cope with all of the pressure because every small detail on the field matters.
"Everyone in the Premier League is fit enough to compete. They are strong and, most times, they are technically good.
"But there is another dimension. There is another five to 15 per cent that comes from your belief and that can be the difference over the other team."
West Brom have picked up some impressive results on their travels this season and Scharner hopes they can repeat that form at Craven Cottage.
"The results we have had away from home in particular this season have been very pleasing," added Scharner.
"To win at Arsenal and Everton for the first time in 30 years or more, and to get a point at Manchester United after being two goals down were great results.
"It shows the quality we have here, and how high the potential is in the squad."
