Manchester City have won their appeal against defender Pablo Zabaleta's red card in the 0-0 draw with Arsenal on Wednesday night.
The Argentina international was dismissed in the closing stages at Emirates Stadium along with Gunners full-back Bacary Sagna.
Sagna went head-to-head with Zabaleta after being upset at a challenge from his opponent on the touchline in the closing stages.
Referee Mike Jones deemed both players to be guilty of violent conduct and issued the duo with immediate red cards, much to the bemusement of Zabaleta.
City launched an immediate appeal, while Arsenal elected not to contest Sagna's dismissal, and the Football Association have rescinded the penalty.
A statement on City's official website read: "Pablo Zabaleta's red card at Arsenal on Wednesday night has been overturned on appeal by the Football Association.
"At a Regulatory Commission hearing today, a claim for wrongful dismissal from Zabaleta was upheld.
"As a result, Zabaleta's three-match suspension has been withdrawn and the Argentine defender is now available to face Leicester City in the FA Cup on Sunday."
