AC Milan forward Alexandre Pato has assured fans he will not be switching allegiances and joining former boss Leonardo at rivals Inter.
Leonardo has come in for criticism from some for taking over the reins at Inter just six months after his one-year spell as coach of the Rossoneri was terminated.
Anti-Leonardo banners were displayed during Sunday's 4-4 draw at home to Udinese by some fans who are unhappy by the actions of the former player, scout, technical director and manager of the club.
While Pato respects Leonardo's decision, he insists he has no intention of following the lead of his fellow Brazilian, saying he wants to stay and win with the current Serie A leaders.
The 21-year-old told Italian Sky: "This is a job and (Leonardo) has made his choice and we all respect that decision.
"Inter are still Inter, a strong team that won everything last year and has won many league titles in recent years.
"But I've already said we have to concentrate solely on our aims and I'm convinced that at the end we'll do well.
"And I repeat, I only want to win with this jersey which I will wear as long as the club wants me to.
"Inter? No, I want only Milan."
Former Inter striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic joined Milan - via Barcelona - in the summer, while Pato also has competition from the likes of Robinho and now Antonio Cassano, who has just switched from Sampdoria.
But the Brazilian says playing alongside such illustrious names can only benefit his game and he has nothing but praise for coach Massimiliano Allegri as Milan try to win a first title since 2004.
Pato added: "He (Allegri) deserves to be at Milan, he's a great coach and we're happy with him.
"Allegri knows how to motivate players, even those who have won everything.
"We're united, a real group, we want to win for him.
"I'm delighted to have team-mates like Ibra, Cassano and Robinho, I can only learn from them."
