DJ Campbell has warned Charlie Adam he would be crazy to swap the famed Blackpool team spirit for stacks of cash elsewhere.
The Scottish international has been the subject of bids from Midlands pair Aston Villa and Birmingham, while Liverpool are reportedly keen on him.
Adams would be sure to treble his salary elsewhere as the Blackpool owners imposed a strict £10,000-a-week salary cap at the club last summer.
Yet, Campbell insists it is the Seasiders' sense of togetherness that marks them out from opponents - something a greater wage packet cannot guarantee.
"The chairman has put a wage cap in place here, it's his club and he can do want he wants," Campbell told skysports.com.
"Other clubs might have seen that and think that they can come and nick our players on the cheap.
"But sometimes it's not all about money. We are a very tight group here and everyone is pulling in the right direction and we all do things as a team.
"No one is left out; I've never really experienced that at a club before. What we have going here is something special and you might not get that somewhere else.
"Money isn't everything, we have an environment here where everyone wants to come to work and be part of what we are doing here. We could make history."
Campbell, 28, has been in rich goalscoring form this term and his seven goals have shot Blackpool to the lofty heights of 10th in the Premier League.
Ian Holloway's men were the bookies' favourites for relegation at the start of the campaign and with 17 games left of the term, Campbell believes their talisman should stay to see the job through of attaining survival.
He added: "We'd all love to see him stay but there are other good players here - it's not a one-man team. But we would love him to stay so that we can finish the job that we have started."
