Newcastle to let winger leave

Queens Park Rangers have lined up a deal for Wayne Routledge, Sky Sports News understands. The Newcastle winger is seemingly not in Alan Pardew's long-term plans at St James' Park and is set to leave. Routledge moved to Newcastle almost exactly 12 months ago from QPR, and he has played over 30 times for the Magpies. But now he is ready to head back to his native London and re-sign for the Hoops, who are currently top of the Championship. Rangers boss Neil Warnock is looking to freshen his squad up and admitted earlier this week he wanted up to three players.
