Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admits Manuel Almunia is on 'standby' and there is a slight chance he could leave the Emirates this month.
The 33-year-old has not played since the 3-2 home defeat to West Brom in September through injury, with Lukasz Fabianski and Wojciech Szczesny proving able replacements since.
Wenger has previously admitted the Spanish shot-stopper could leave Arsenal during the January transfer window, and the Gunners boss says that is still the case.
"Almunia is on standby, that means he is here," Wenger told the club's official website.
"We keep always that very quiet [about whether there have been offers]. There is a slight chance he could go but as I told you it is standby."
Galatasaray, Malaga and Atletico Madrid are thought to be interested in the Spanish shot-stopper, who has been with the Gunners since 2004.
