Chelsea winger Salomon Kalou has insisted that the club can pull themselves out of a crisis and challenge for the title.
The Blues have seen their grip on the Premier League trophy loosen over the past few months, with pressure on the team and manager Carlo Ancelotti to produce results mounting as they struggle to retain the trophy they won last season.
Ancelotti's men finally managed to pull themselves out of the worst run of form since Roman Abramovich invested in the club to make them title challengers in 2003 with a 2-0 win over Blackburn last Saturday.
However, they travel to Bolton for Monday night's clash without an away win since beating Rovers at Ewood Park at the end of October and needing a win to keep pace with leaders Manchester United.
Chelsea have never been a club far from reports of unrest, with the Italian now the sixth manager to oversee the club since Abramovich's takeover, but Kalou, who joined five years ago from Feyenoord, has seen it all before.
"What we have been doing hasn't been Chelsea, it's not what we are known for. It is important to put it right. We just have to go back to playing our style of football, win games and get our confidence back," the Ivory Coast international told the London Evening Standard.
"When we have our confidence back we will return to our best level. Now we are in a moment where we must fight for everything.
"What went wrong? Losing one game can happen but after the second and third game your confidence is not the same and that is how you keep losing games.
"I don't think a couple of months turns us all into bad players. I believe beating Blackburn has turned it back round again, we scored two goals and created lots of chances."
"I feel frustrated with how the season has gone for me. I started well but then I picked up an injury. When I came back the team were struggling and it was harder for me.
"The season is still long and I hope that the injury is behind me. Now I have to come back to my top level and keep on scoring goals. That is my main target. I want more success.
"When I signed for Chelsea it was for the chance to win trophies. I have good memories already but I want to create more. I want to win more with the club.
"I'm happy to be at Chelsea and play with these players and it is even better to win with these players."
