Bougherra - No transfer worry

Madjid Bougherra says he has no qualms about the transfer speculation surrounding his Rangers team-mates.

Algerian nonplussed by transfer talk

Rangers defender Madjid Bougherra says he has no qualms about the potential impact transfer speculation will have on his team-mates. A host of key Gers names have been linked with a move out of Ibrox following striker Kenny Miller's departure to Bursaspor last week. Bougherra is one of those aligned with a move elsewhere, with Arsenal believed to be keen on the Algerian stopper. But he insists such conjecture will not affect Walter Smith's side as they look to overturn Celtic at the top of the SPL. "From the last two years I'm here, I don't remember any times when a player was troubled, or not concentrating, as a result of transfer rumours," said Bougherra. The 28-year-old, one of the club's more sellable assets, continued: "We need to stay professional. "Experience helps you take this transfer speculation in your stride, and keep working, because if you keep working, whether the rumour is true or not, the big move will come one day."
