Striker Nicklas Bendtner believes winning the Carling Cup can be Arsenal's springboard to getting back on the trophy trail.
After enduring a barren run of silverware in recent seasons, the Gunners have the chance to reopen their trophy cabinet with victory in next month's final against Birmingham.
Danish international Bendtner reckons the floodgates will open for Arsenal, whose last triumph came in the 2005 FA Cup, as soon as they pick up one of the major prizes.
And he is hopeful success will return to the Emirates Stadium this season with the side also still in the hunt for Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup honours.
The 22-year-old told isport.cz: "If we do win the Carling Cup it will certainly boost our confidence to go on and win more silverware.
"Winning all four trophies is possible but I don't look so much into the future.
"I just focus on the next game.
"Winning one trophy would be great but two would be better!
"But first of all we need to win the Carling Cup.
"It's hard to say which other competition I would like to win most but it would be either the Premier League or the Champions League."
And Bendtner has issued a rallying call to his Arsenal team-mates ahead of their UEFA Champions League clash against Barcelona - after the Catalan giants outclassed Arsene Wenger's side in last year's competition.
He said: "I can't give you proof but I do feel we are stronger than last season.
"Surely we have a chance to eliminate Barcelona."
