Record scorer David Healy has been brought back into the Northern Ireland squad for the Carling Nations Cup match against Scotland in Dublin.
Healy was left out of Nigel Worthington's previous squad against Morocco and there had been fears over whether he could resurrect his international career due to a lack of regular action at club level.
However, he has now moved to Rangers on a six-month deal after leaving Sunderland and will be determined to recapture his best form.
The 31-year-old has been granted the opportunity to score his first goal for Northern Ireland since the game against San Marino in October 2008 after being included in the squad to face Scotland.
Meanwhile, Liam Boyce joins up with the senior group for the first time after the 19-year-old impressed with Werder Bremen's Under-23 side following a move from Cliftonville.
Celtic duo Paddy McCourt and Niall McGinn - who recently received bullets through the post which were intercepted - are also included for the fixture on 9th February.
