Argentine defender Pablo Zabaleta reckons countryman Carlos Tevez has found his spiritual home at Manchester City.
Skipper Tevez celebrated his 27th birthday by bagging a hat trick and leading City to an important 3-0 win against West Brom on Saturday.
Tevez, who slapped in a transfer request in December after complaining of homesickness, kept his side in the Premier League title hunt after taking his personal goals tally to 20 for the season.
And Zabaleta reckons his compatriot's blistering form comes after finally finding happiness on and off the pitch and deciding to stay at Eastlands.
Zabaleta told the club's official website: "Carlos is a tremendous player and he has many more fantastic years ahead of him.
"He is very important to us as a player, as a person and as a leader, he's one of the best in the business.
"I rate him as one of the best strikers in the world and I think he has found his spiritual home at City because his scoring record is unbelievable."
Now the versatile defender has backed Tevez to claim the Premier League's golden boot.
Zabaleta added: "He is also right up there in the race to be the top scorer in the Premier League.
"He still has 12 games left to score many more goals and we will do all we can to help him achieve that."
