Wolves defender looking for more wins against lesser teams

Christophe Berra has challenged Wolves to reproduce their Manchester United heroics against teams battling to avoid relegation. Mick McCarthy's side have struggled against the lower-ranked sides in the Premier League this season but defeated the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea. And on Saturday they claimed their biggest scalp to date, shattering the unbeaten record of leaders Manchester United. Wolves' 2-1 victory was not enough to lift them out of the bottom three and Berra knows what the major problem is. The defender feels it is imperative that his team-mates find more consistency and show their best form in all matches, not just against the top teams. He said: "This season has been crazy so far. We get beaten by the teams around us and then beat Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and now United "It was a great result for us at the weekend. But now we have got to make sure we do the same again against the so-called smaller teams." Wolves face another daunting challenge at Arsenal next weekend, but Berra said: "We are more than capable of going there and getting a result. "It will be another tough game but we went there last season and only lost to a 94th-minute goal."

Zubar praise

Berra, 26, was full of praise for the way his fellow defender Ronald Zubar bounced back from gifting Bolton a winner last week by giving an impressive performance against the Red Devils. "It happens when you are a defender," said Berra. "Sometimes a striker can miss a chance and get away with it. "But, if you make a mistake at the back, it's highlighted much more. "You just have to make sure you bounce back - and Ronald did that on Saturday."
