QPR defender Gary Borrowdale has joined Carlisle on a one-month loan deal as he seeks more regular football.
The 25-year-old has made just three appearances for the Championship leaders this season with Clint Hill holding down the left-back slot. "QPR are doing brilliantly this season but, for me, it's a bit frustrating watching from the sidelines," he said. Borrowdale could make his debut in Tuesday night's Johnstone's Paint Trophy area final against Huddersfield.
