Ruud van Nistelrooy claims he is fully committed to Hamburg after failing to re-join his former club Real Madrid during the January transfer window.
The veteran Dutch striker, who made his return to the international fold against Austria in midweek, was disappointed at not being allowed to return to the Bernabeu despite his contract at the AOL-Arena ending in June.
The former Real and Manchester United forward was approached by the capital giants, who were looking for cover for injured Argentina striker Gonzalo Higuain, but the Germans refused to enter into discussions.
"I am 100 per cent concentrated on Hamburg," said the 34-year-old.
"I am going to give all I can over the next three months in order that we can achieve the best possible results.
"I'm happy at Hamburg... of course I was disappointed not to be able to re-join Real, but that's forgotten now."
Meanwhile, Hamburg coach Armin Veh revealed he was not planning to punish Van Nistelrooy for his earlier comments.
"I spoke to him and those talks gave me no indication that he wasn't ready to give his all for the club in the months to come," explained Veh.
