Gerrard is currently on a season-long loan from Cardiff and the talented defender has impressed during his time at the KC Stadium. The 25-year-old has made 27 appearances for the Tigers and scored two goals for the club, including the winner against Preston at the weekend. Hull are believed to have made an offer to turn Gerrard's loan move into a permanent deal with the player widely expected to leave the Bluebirds this summer. Gerrard's stellar displays in East Yorkshire have alerted a number of Premier League clubs to his possible availability in the summer. The former Everton youngster is regarded as one of the best defenders outside the top flight and he has been instrumental in Hull's recent upturn in fortunes.
