Boss warns off Wilshere comparisons

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has warned that midfielder Josh McEachran should not be rushed into action. The 17-year-old has impressed during his brief appearances for Chelsea this season, dating back to his debut in the UEFA Champions League clash against MSK Zilina in September. The Italian manager has preferred to take a cautious approach to the development of the youngster, in contrast to Arsenal youngster Jack Wilshere who has thrived on regular first-team starts. Ancelotti is adamant that the player, who will turn 18 on March 1, should not be pressed into action despite growing calls from supporters. "Josh shouldn't be compared to Wilshere just yet," he told the London Evening Standard. "He has two years' less experience and we will use this year to help him arrive at that level because Wilshere is a very good player. He is very young and the fans need to be patient. "He is showing good personality but he needs to improve and needs to train. He is doing well this season and we are using him at the right time."
