Hull City's on-loan defender Anthony Gerrard is prepared to wait for a decision regarding his long-term future.
Gerrard has impressed at the KC Stadium since arriving from Cardiff City and brief talks have been held with Tigers boss Nigel Pearson regarding his situation.
Skysports.com revealed earlier this month that Hull are likely to face competition from Premier League clubs to sign the 25-year-old on a permanent basis.
The centre-half is unsure what the future holds for next season and he has no qualms about waiting for further discussions.
"Who knows where my future lies," said Gerrard in the Hull Daily Mail. "I have to go back and have some serious conversations with some people.
"I'll have to weigh up my options and see what they are."
Tigers boss Pearson said: "The important things are the two clubs and how the player feels. There's a way to go on that one but I've been delighted with his contribution.
"That speaks for itself. We'll have to see how they see it and how the player sees it.
"I've briefly spoken about it with the player and I'm sure we'll be speaking about it another time.
"But I've been really pleased with how he's performed this season, he's been first-rate."
