Wayne Hennessey insists he has put his crucial error which allowed Carlos Vela to score a last-gasp equaliser for West Brom firmly behind him and his focus is on beating Blackpool.
The 24-year-old Wolves goalkeeper "hated" the moment James Morrison's shot for the Baggies squirmed out of his grasp and into the path of the on-loan Mexican Vela who netted late on last weekend.
But the Welsh international does not want the costly error to affect his recent superb form and insists all he is focused on is driving Wolves towards three points against Blackpool today.
"I hated it - I want to beat West Brom as much as any of our fans, especially with my mate Boaz (Myhill) playing in goal for them as well," the shot-stopper told Midlands newspaper the Express and Star.
"I should have held on to the shot for their goal, but I didn't see it until late because of all the bodies in the way.
"It was one of those things that happen, and you have to get on with it.
"I put it behind me as soon as the game was over.
"I read a few comments from people saying I fumbled it and if they want to say that, fine.
"I know I played well in the game."
Hennessey says he has a "massive responsibility" to keep Premier League basement club Wolves up.
He added: "If we want to go back down, we could just retreat into a little hole, but we want to come out fighting so we can progress and do well in this league."
