Wigan Athletic defender Steven Gohouri insists he will wait until the end of the season before deciding his future. The powerful 30-year-old has impressed since his arrival at the DW Stadium in January 2010, signing a contract four months later to keep him at the club until the end of next season. The former Borussia Monchengladbach and Young Boys defender is said to be attracting interest from a number of Premier League clubs after breaking into the first-team plans of Roberto Martinez. The Latics may face a tough task to keep hold of the Ivory Coast defender in the summer, yet for now Gohouri is committed to ensuring survival for the club that brought him to England. "I am aware of interest from clubs, but to be honest this side of business is dealt with by my agent," he said. "I want to finish the season strongly with Wigan and see what happens at the end of the year." Gohouri's agent, Rui Alves, added to skysports.com: "There is interest in the Premier League for Steve but we are very calm. "We have a contract with Wigan, so wait and see at the end of the season."
