Heurelho Gomes has compared compatriot Sandro to Brazil legend Dunga after Spurs reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League.
The Brazilian pair helped Spurs grind out a goalless stalemate against AC Milan on Wednesday to achieve progress in Europe's elite competition.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp afterwards hailed Sandro's performance as 'immense', while keeper Gomes also praised his compatriot, who has become a regular in the Brazil squad ever since Mano Menezes replaced Dunga as national team manager after the World Cup.
Gomes said: "Sandro is a good player, really quick. It's a great time for him at the moment.
"I think he looks like Dunga when he played in midfield.
"He has quality, he can play as well, hold the ball and win it. He can play and has been brilliant for us."
Gomes was proud of his two clean sheets against the Rossoneri and now hopes to avoid tournament favourites Barcelona in the last eight.
"We will take anyone but Barcelona," he said
"It's not easy to keep a clean sheet against them because they have quality players. We defended well and attacked them when we had the chance."
But Sandro believes Spurs can take on anybody as they seek to make the final at Wembley in May.
"It is a possibility and a dream for me to reach the final of the best competition in the world," said the 21-year-old.
"We got past Milan so why can't we get past other big clubs too?"
