Sandro admits he is starting to feel 'part of the family' at Tottenham after taking his opportunity to shine.
The Brazilian was snapped up by Harry Redknapp over the summer in a £6.5million deal from Internacional.
With South American arrivals usually taking time to settle in English football, Spurs have been careful not to ask for too much too soon from the combative midfielder.
That forced the 22-year-old to be patient as he waited for his big break but his moment in the spotlight arrived in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League, with Redknapp throwing him into action against AC Milan.
Future
Sandro shone over the course of a two-legged tie, helping Spurs through, and he claims there is still much more to come from him as he continues to find his feet.
"I know I have had to wait for my opportunity but it came in a big match against AC Milan," Sandro told Tottenham's
official website.
"I was happy with my performances and I feel like I am part of the family at Spurs.
"I really enjoyed the moment with the Spurs supporters and the team, but this is in the past now and we're looking to the future and the next match."
Next in Sandro's sights are West Ham, with Tottenham set to entertain their capital rivals at White Hart Lane on Saturday lunchtime.

That clash will be another hugely important one for Spurs, with the club hoping a top-four finish in the Premier League will accompany a remarkable run through their debut Champions League campaign
On their targets, Sandro said: "I know there are big matches coming up now so we need to keep our concentration for both the Premier League and Champions League.
"We have a good squad with many qualities and everybody knows their responsibilities to do everything well.
"I know this derby with West Ham is a very important match.
"For me it's about keeping my concentration and my position in the team, so I hope to be successful in this next match."
