QPR's Adel Taarabt is the Championship Player of the Year while Craig Mackail-Smith and Ryan Lowe have won the League One and Two prizes respectively. Taarabt has 15 league goals and assists to his name this season as Neil Warnock's QPR side have taken the Championship by storm, commanding a nine-point lead with eight games remaining. The ex-Spurs playmaker has been a key player for the Loftus Road outfit and he was naturally delighted to win the league's best player award. "It's fantastic for me. I'm very happy and I'm very proud that I'm the Championship's best player," he told Sky Sports. "I've found a good manager who believes in me and trusts me a lot. We have a great squad, all around the club they help me. It's been a fantastic season." Ipswich Town's promising striker Connor Wickham has been named Young Player of the Year and he is just looking to maintain his upward curve after being recognised for his efforts. "It's amazing. To even be nominated was amazing, so to win it is even better. Things can only go forward from here," said Wickham.

League One

Peterborough's free-scoring striker Craig Mackail-Smith has won the League One award for his 22 league goals and nine assists as Posh attempt to secure an immediate Championship return. "To be voted is a fantastic feeling and I'm proud to have won it," said Mackail-Smith. "It's been a fantastic season for me. Everything I've been hitting has been going in." Bury marksman Ryan Lowe has been League Two's outstanding player and he set a new Shakers record this season having scored goals in nine successive matches. "It's amazing. I'm chuffed. I'm over the moon. It's been along-old season and we just want to try and finish the job off," said Lowe. "I want to pay huge compliment to the club's coaching staff and team-mates because without them I would not have got this award."
