Thomas Muller is confident team-mate Arjen Robben will not jump ship if Bayern Munich fail to tie down a UEFA Champions League spot this season.
Reigning Bundesliga champions Bayern have endured a disappointing campaign so far, with inconsistent results leaving them fourth in the table and outside the European places.
Their exit from this season's Champions League last week prompted talk Dutch ace Robben, who is contracted until June 2013, wants to walk from the Allianz Arena in favour of a move to Italian giants AC Milan.
But Germany international Muller has played down such speculation, insisting he and his team-mates are committed to Bayern.
Asked whether failure to qualify for Champions League football would result in the exit of the club's key players, Muller told spox.com: "I don't think so.
"I do not think, even if this horror scenario takes place, much will be changed.
"I do not see any intentions to leave the club with regard to someone like Arjen Robben.
"He is aware of the size of Bayern Munich, he likes being around. He does not seem ready to want to work himself up into a first-team elsewhere.
"I do not think any player with a good chance to play first-team football at the Allianz Arena actually has any plans to leave the club."
"We have players on long-term deals, these players are the framework of the squad. The team is working well, even in a crisis like this one."
Bayern have already moved to cool talk former Chelsea man Robben could depart the club at the end of the season.
And chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has stressed that sentiment by reiterating Robben is not going anywhere.
"This whole story comes out of nothing and is really ridiculous," Rummenigge told Bayern's official website.
"Arjen Robben does not plan to leave Bayern Munich. Much to the contrary, he is going to give his best to make a new season in the Champions League happen, as will the rest of the squad.
"No one wants to play in the Europa League."
