On-loan Leeds midfielder Jake Livermore has revealed that he turned down other clubs to move to Elland Road.
The 21-year-old Tottenham man has joined the Whites until the end of the season as they look to secure promotion back to the Premier League.
Simon Grayson's side currently sit fifth in the Championship with eight games still to play this term.
Livermore, who was on loan at Ipswich earlier in the campaign, believes that Leeds can go up and is pleased to have joined the cause in West Yorkshire.
"It's what you play football for, the big games, and I want to help," he told the club's official website.
"There were a few clubs interested, but Leeds is a massive club with a massive fanbase and a good set of lads and I want to do my best to help them.
"There's eight games left, they're all cup finals and if we can't do it automatic, there's the play-offs."
He added: "Leeds are doing well and fighting for something which is good.
"I spoke to Aaron (Lennon), Danny Rose and Jonathan Woodgate who only had positive things to say about the place."
Livermore arrives at Leeds with 44 career appearances to his name and says it is a loan deal that will benefit all concerned.
"I broke my leg at 17 and was out for a year, and since then I've been on loan to a few clubs and been back and forth to Tottenham," he remarked.
"I've been recalled a few times, and this seemed like a good idea for both clubs to come here.
"The manager is quite close with a few coaches at Tottenham and they were keen for me to come and work with him."
