Rangers striker Kyle Lafferty is expecting a nail-biting SPL title run-in with Celtic hell-bent on regaining the trophy.
Gers have pipped their arch-rivals to top spot in Scotland's top flight for the past two seasons, although the Bhoys lead the way this time around.
Celtic moved five points clear of Rangers on Tuesday with a 1-0 win at St Johnstone, although Walter Smith's side can reduce the arrears with victory at Aberdeen on Wednesday.
Lafferty does not think winning the last two titles gives Gers any advantage in this season's run-in and he insists his team-mates are solely focusing on securing as many points as they can.
"I wouldn't say it's an advantage because it's really just down to the last eight games," said Lafferty.
"Celtic are probably dying to get their hands on it having not won it for two seasons.
"Knowing Neil Lennon he will be getting his players up for it and we're going to expect a fight from them, so it's going to be a tough eight games for both sides.
"Everybody in a Rangers jersey knows what it's about because we've done it over the last two years. We know we have to play to our best and pick up as many points as we can.
"There are going to be hard games because teams still have things to play for but we just have to go out with the right frame of mind and try to get as many points as we can."
