Anders Lindegaard insists he is not worrying about who Manchester United may sign to replace Edwin van der Sar at the end of the season.
Dutch veteran Van der Sar is retiring in the summer, meaning the No.1 spot with the Premier League leaders is up for grabs.
A string of high-profile keepers from across Europe have been linked with a move to Old Trafford, while Sir Alex Ferguson currently has Lindegaard and Tomasz Kuszczak to choose from if he promotes from within.
Lindegaard has made two FA Cup appearances since joining United during the winter and the Denmark international is currently sidelined by a knee injury.
However, the 27-year-old is determined to stake his claim to be Van der Sar's successor and is not concerned by the threat of new signings.
"The question is more complex than just a yes or no answer," Lindegaard told Sunmorposten regarding his chances of being first choice.
"There are many factors to consider but it is, of course, a goal.
"I don't think about that (other keepers being linked with United). That's not on my table and I can't say one thing or another about it.
"The only thing I can do is show myself and prove to everyone that I should be the first-choice keeper."
