James Vaughan regrettably admits that he will probably have to leave Everton this summer and he hopes to hold talks about staying with Crystal Palace.
The 22-year-old is currently on loan at Selhurst Park, but is due to return to Goodison Park after Saturday's match with Nottingham Forest.
England Under 21 international Vaughan is desperate to play first-team football and he thinks that is unlikely at Everton.
For that reason, the forward hopes to have discussions with Palace boss Dougie Freedman in the near future.
Vaughan told the South London Press: "I want to play first-team football and I'll probably have to leave Everton because I don't seem part of their plans. It's unfortunate because I love the club.
"I need to sit down with the gaffer at Palace. We haven't had the chance to do that yet because everyone is focused on getting as high as we can, but I'm sure we will.
"I need to discuss things with my family and see what is best to do.
"I've enjoyed every minute here, so I would definitely consider staying."
