City star ready for two huge games

Dutch midfielder Nigel De Jong admits this week is 'do or die' for Manchester City. City face Tottenham on Tuesday when they can cement their place in next season's UEFA Champions League by guaranteeing a top-four finish. Then they travel to Wembley on Saturday for the FA Cup final with Stoke as they look to end a 35-year long wait for a trophy. And the Holland ace admits City need to put everything into the next seven days to make sure their season is a successful one. "This is a very important week for the club, the players and the fans. This is do or die for Manchester City," said De Jong following Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Everton. "Fourth place is in reach and everything is in our hands. We just have to win that game. "We then have a chance to be FA Cup winners - but we must learn from this game. "Our passing was sloppy and we lost every second ball. "They came out with their long balls and set-pieces and that is their main danger but sometimes you have to grind it out."
